Daryel and I are so excited when we complete a new original piece and begin thinking of the perfect location to photograph our borders. Sometimes we have a clear vision and know exactly where to go and other times, we drive around for hours searching for the perfect, unique setting that will best showcase the colors and styles of each piece.
After spending quite a bit of time looking for the perfect place, we ran into this amazing home in downtown Sacramento. The owner just happened to be sitting outside on her front porch and when we approached her, she was happy to allow us to photograph her home. She shared with us some history on the house which was built in 1890 and she is now the third owner and it has ties back to John Sutter.
The colors are so fun and festive and the patriotic theme was just absolutely perfect to showcase our americana collection.
